Job Description
Become part of a multidisciplinary team delivering automated equipment solutions, with focus on driving projects to completion
Overview of role:
* To lead and implement engineering development projects, especially those related to design, build and test of automation equipment
* Be responsible for planning and enabling project activities within our engineering and production teams

Main Tasks:
1. Managing the engineering and production activities across the business
2. Respond to project requests and ensure timely delivery of activities with the required personnel
3. Interacting with and supporting customers throughout an entire project life cycle
4. Report on the status of projects, leading to review of project performance and revenue recognition
5. Maintain live and accurate project information in our Enterprise Resource Planning software system
6. Produce project schedules and maintain with live information
7. Responsibility for project management and implementation of projects
8. Build relationships key stakeholders within the business and client organisations
9. Manage risks and issues within projects, escalating key concerns. Keep a risk register and drive down issues with proactive management.
10. Manage change control in association with approval process
11. Update Operations Manager, Accounts, and Financial Controller through weekly status updates
Experience:
12. Experience in the delivery of engineering services or products essential
13. Demonstrable project management experience essential, training or qualification preferred
14. Ability to write technical documentation e.g. proposals, quotations to a high standard and in a regulated industry preferred
15. Experience in working to a structured project management system preferred
16. Experience of working to an accredited Quality System preferred
17. Familiarity with industrial automation and medical device sectors would be an advantage
Qualifications:
Level 7 minimum qualification in an Engineering related discipline or equivalent experience
