Established in 1951, the Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) is a voluntary organisation and a national charity working with children and adults with disabilities. The voluntary sector provides 75% of the disability services in Ireland. Alongside various voluntary organisations and the Health Service Executive (HSE), CRC offers a range of services to individuals with disabilities.
We provide general disability services in partnership with the HSE and other organisations.
Description
Fixed-Term, 6 Months, Full-time role, 35 hours per week
Role:
The General Services functions include property and estates management, minor capital projects, maintenance, and catering. The Senior Assistant will support the Head of General Services and Capital Projects with management and administration of minor capital projects, and will also oversee the small Maintenance and Catering teams based at CRC’s main site in Clontarf.

Qualifications / Experience
Candidates must at the latest date of application:
* Hold a Level 8 (or higher) QQI major award in Architecture, Engineering, or Surveying, accredited by the relevant professional body (e.g., Society of Chartered Surveyors in Ireland, RICS, Engineers Ireland, RIAI).
* OR be a member of a relevant professional association listed above.
* OR be eligible for registration under the Building Control Act 2007 without further assessment.
* OR hold an equivalent qualification.
and
* Have at least four years’ satisfactory post-qualification experience in architecture, engineering, or surveying, including experience in building maintenance or mechanical, electrical, and heating services.
Additionally, candidates should demonstrate a high standard of technical training, knowledge, administrative capacity, and suitability for the role.
Department of Health salary range: Technical Services Officer, Senior Assistant, code 555T (€59,068 - €82,107).
