Personal Assistant & Office Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Personal Assistant & Office Manager to support the owner of a busy office. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for flexible hours, as it can be adapted to fit school schedules etc.
The successful candidate will have strong Sage experience, a solid background in office administration, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
* Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the business owner, including email management, scheduling, and correspondence.
* Accounts & Finance: Assist with financial tasks, including processing invoices, managing payments, and supporting the accounts team. Previous experience with Sage is preferred for managing the accounts functions.
* Office Management: Oversee general office duties such as office supplies, filing, organizing documents, and maintaining an efficient office environment.
* Ad-hoc Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as required by the business owner, helping with special projects or tasks as they arise.
* Use a variety of software packages (including Excel, Word) to manage data and produce documents and presentations.
* Keep diaries and arrange appointments
* Respond promptly to customer enquiries or queries
* Schedule and attend meetings, create agendas and take minutes
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Office Manager, or in a similar administrative role.
* Previous experience with office administration and accounts tasks.
* Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Knowledge of Word, Excel or similar. Knowledge of Sage 50 an advantage.
* A pleasant, confident telephone manner
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
