Key Responsibilities:
* Work with cross-disciplinary teams to inform preliminary design, statutory consent, and construction stage projects in the energy, water, and transport sectors.
* Prepare high-quality reports including Biodiversity sections of Environmental Reports and Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, Appropriate Assessment Screening, and Natura Impact Statements.
* Have a sound appreciation of Irish environmental and planning reporting processes and relevant legislation and guidance.
* Interpret ecological monitoring data and manage data using GIS (ArcGIS).
Candidate Specification:
* R
* elevant Degree (e.g. Ecology / Botany / Zoology / Environmental Sciences)
* Consultancy experience focused on environmental/ecology
* Excellent reporting ability with examples available
* Extensive understanding and experience of Appropriate Assessment (Habitats Directive)
* Working knowledge of GIS
* CIEEM membership or working towards same
