Overview
The Human Resources Manager will be assigned authority to collaborate and advise managers as to best practice in HR-related issues in line with HSE HR policies, protocols, and procedures. This responsibility will include participation in recruitment and retention initiatives, employee relations, workforce planning, performance achievement, staff engagement, and any other HR projects/initiatives which may be assigned from time to time.
The post holder is responsible initially for the delivery and implementation of a range of generalist HR services within Meath community care groups including the provision of advice and guidance on HR and ER issues in order to support the Managers and staff across divisions within Meath in the achievement of its business objectives.
Providing guidance on the DNE HR strategy and policy direction and governance on people-related matters to influence, monitor and support the changing structure and workforce with a focus on change management, leadership, and development support.
Provide HR support and guidance in the delivery of the people and organisational strategy in line with government policy and the DNE People Strategy to ensure the orderly and integrated development of services consistently.
Essential Criteria
Candidates Must Have By The Closing Date Of Application:
* A third level qualification preferably in Human Resources or Health Services Management or other relevant qualification (Quality & Qualifications Ireland Level 8 or equivalent) and/or professional membership CIPD would be an advantage.
* 5 years + experience at a senior level in a Human Resource management role including developing, managing, and delivering effective HR Strategies.
* A track record of successful and innovative leadership including a record of delivering change through strong interpersonal and communications ability.
* Experience of managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders, as relevant to the role.
* Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
