About the Role
We are seeking a Product Owner to join our client's dynamic Digital team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving digital transformation and the creation of best-in-class customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define the Product Vision: Establish and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
* Lead Agile Teams: Provide direction to cross-functional Agile teams, ensuring they remain focused on tasks that align with product and business objectives.
* Prioritise Backlog: Manage and prioritise the product backlog based on business value and ROI, ensuring the team is always equipped with the most impactful tasks.
* Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, UX teams, and IT to gather requirements, write user stories, and ensure the optimal user experience for new features.
* Support Scrum Lead: Assist in business readiness and deployment activities, while supporting the team in sprint reviews, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
* Effective Communication: Share progress, challenges, and insights with business owners and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage Impediments: Proactively identify and mitigate potential blockers, ensuring that the team can meet their sprint goals and deliver high-quality results.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience: As a Product Owner or similar role in Agile environments, with a strong understanding of product management principles and methodologies.
* Agile tools: Experienced with Agile backlog management tools (Jira or similar).
* Business analysis: Expertise in data analysis, use case development, user story writing, and user acceptance testing.
* Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex customer needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with diverse stakeholders.
* Proficiency in MS Office: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalent tools.
* Transformation projects: Experience working on large transformation projects is a plus.
