Job Description
We seek a suitably qualified candidate with outstanding communications expertise to join our staff as Strategic Communications Specialist in the Office of the President.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the President's Communication Strategy for various audiences internally, nationally, and internationally.
* Support and develop communications initiatives.
* Manage the President's social media presence.
* Draft speeches.
* Evaluate event protocol for high-level events hosted by the President.
Key Requirements:
* Closely work with and report directly to the Chief of Staff.
* Demonstrate ability to work accurately under pressure and independently.
* Handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
About the Role
This critical position involves academic and administrative liaison with colleagues across the University and key external partners. The post holder will have autonomy to develop their skills and potential in a supportive working environment.
