Job purpose
Provides timely, accurate, creative and implementable legal advice to the Transitions business to protect and defend Transitions interests in both public and private forums. Assist management in conducting business in an efficient and profitable manner in compliance with the law and company polices.
Key role accountabilities:
1. Contract review and negotiation
2. Regulatory compliance
3. Human Resource issues
4. Litigation management
5. Review of commercial practices
6. Corporate governance
7. Subsidiary corporate maintenance
8. Support of global and regional marketing, Marketing claims and Trademark
9. Regulatory issues, including: device manufacturing regulations; GDPR and privacy
Your profile:
10. Law degree
11. Solid relevant professional experience - preferably Inhouse experience, corporate law expertise
12. Experience with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
13. General understanding of intellectual property issues, including IP licenses
14. Successful track record of exercising independent judgment including the ability to make decisions that balance business & legal priorities
15. Readiness to manage the complexity & workload
