Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is keen to hire an Electrical Utilities Engineer to join their growing team in Sligo on an initial 12-month contract. Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, as an Electrical Utilities Engineer you will support the site services team in the turnover/commissioning of projects. Key Responsibilities of an Electrical Utilities Engineer: Conduct Walk downs with Project Team on behalf of Site & Generate Punch-list as required. Manage Punch-list and Oversee Close out of raised Punches. Review Documentation of various systems prior to turnover. Liaise with Project System Owners as required. Assist with the Commissioning & Supporting of System Integration. Developing a project plan and qualification strategy in line with site requirements. Monitor and report on project plan progress, communicate any shortfalls in specific areas of the plan and where needed identify solutions to address the shortfalls. Ideal Background: Electrical Engineering Degree Desired but not essential. Electrical Trade qualified (QQI Level 6) Advanced Craft Electrical Cert or Electrical & Instrumentation Cert 5 years experience in Engineering or related discipline is a necessary requirement for this position with project management experience.
