Career Vision Recruiters are recruiting a Deputy General Manager for a 4* Hotel property in Co. Galway. The ideal candidate will be passionate, and self-motivated with exceptional experience of directing a team to provide excellent service with a personal touch. Reporting to and supporting the General Manager, the Deputy General Manager will lead the day to day operations for all areas of the hotel as well as motivating and leading all employees. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Provide strategic support to the General Manager for all hotel operations Ensure that all employees are consistently motivated and engaged to deliver excellence in service. Ensure the best level of customer care within the property. Support the profitability and cost management of the hotel. To direct and manage all hotel activities To maximise revenue, profitability and quality goals by developing and executing up-selling strategies and by providing quality service and products to all guests. Deputise for the General Manager in their absence Work with and lead the management team Ensure financial targets are achieved Foster an excellent working environment where customer focus is exceeded Requirements: A degree or diploma in Hotel or Hospitality Management is preferred but not essential. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus. Strong knowledge of food, beverages, coffee, wine, and cocktails. Experience in front office operations is an advantage. A proven ability to provide exceptional service and drive sales. Familiarity with Hotsoft and Point of Sale systems. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
