Principal Systems Engineer (voice and routing) We have Principal and Senior level permanent and contract roles in Galway for experienced Systems Engineers specifically within the Contact Center area!
Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their team and contribute to their Contact Centre platform and engineering.
This is a great opportunity to be at the beginning of a new team set up!
You will lead technology solutions to deliver business value; collaborate in an autonomous team, owning all aspects of delivery (Coding, Quality, DevSecOps) as well as helping to transform the devops, provisioning, testing and operational capabilities of the platform; simplify the complex through consistency, refactoring and repeatability; grow an agile development culture and promote industry standard methodologies; guide and oversee the implementation of high-level and low-level designs; improve monitoring and operational stability practice.
Skills: Minimum 7-9 years in a software engineering role.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining contact center solutions using enterprise platforms such as Genesys, Avaya, Cisco, Amazon Connect and other similar systems is a plus.
Strong organisational skills Strong leadership skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Expertise with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) delivery and software design, development, test and operational automation Understanding of enterprise-scale platform architecture which includes considerations for high availability and business continuity.
Define, champion, and manage the pace, tools, best practices, and related development methodologies.
Effectively address functional and quality goals of systems during design activities.
Familiarity with Docker and container-based development and deployment practices as well as with CI/CD pipelines Working knowledge of VoIP, SIP and data applications/networking a plus.
