Global Cost Accounting Specialist
This vital role involves being a member of the Global Cost Accounting team responsible for consolidating and analyzing global inventory and cost of sales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform inventory, cost of production, and cost of sales accounting for manufacturing and contract manufacturing sites and distribution channels.
* Prepare sophisticated journal entries, general ledger account analysis, and reconciliations for SAP and consolidation tools.
* Support product integration activities and process harmonization projects.
* Prepare audit schedules and answer questions from internal and external auditors.
* Consolidate, analyze, and report global inventory balances by product/site.
Requirements:
* Doctorate Degree, OR Masters degree with 2+ years of experience in general accounting, OR Bachelors degree with 3+ years of experience in general accounting, OR Associates degree with 10+ years of experience in general accounting, OR High School Diploma/GED with 12+ years of experience in general accounting.
* Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of General, Intercompany, and Cost Accounting experience using SAP, dynamic accounting/finance experience, and knowledge of US GAAP.
