Páisti Beaga Preschool and School Aged Care Service, CLG, are seeking a reliable person to take on our Service Manager role.
Requirements from Candidates:
1. Minimum QQI Level 7 in Early Years Education.
2. A minimum of 5 years in the childcare sector, experience in management preferable.
3. Excellent leadership skills.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Excellent organisational skills.
6. Show an interest and experience in staff development and training.
7. The ability to work alongside a Board of Directors.
8. Adhering to monthly budgets.
9. Manage Core Funding, NCS, AIM and ECCE programmes through HIVE.
10. The successful candidate will be highly organised with an ability to work as part of a cross functional team.
11. Excellent attention to detail and an ability to manage the running of the service and staff as well as the ability to implement quality Early Childhood curriculum alongside the ECCE Room leader.
12. Full knowledge of Preschool Regulations 2016 and requirements of maintaining fully compliant Preschool Inspections with Tusla, Pobal and the Department of Education.
13. Clear Garda Vetting (and International police clearance if having lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months) is required.
14. Two written references, one from your most recent employer, that will be verified.
15. Available to work between operating hours 8am – 5.30pm.
Duties & Responsibilities of General Service:
1. Named Person In Charge as part of Páisti Beaga Preschool and School Aged Care Tusla Registration understanding and adhering to the legal framework of such a position.
2. Liaise with the Registered Provider and report to the Board of Directors.
3. Lead the existing team and support them to perform their roles.
4. Work with and manage HIVE, SAGE invoice service and BrightPay systems.
5. Be fully responsible for Compliance with CHILD CARE ACT 1991 (EARLY YEARS SERVICES) REGULATIONS 2016.
6. Has proven ability in developing and delivering guidance on Early Years policies, procedures, and standards.
7. Responsible for day to day operations of the service.
8. ERO rate of pay based on qualification and experience.
