We are presently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor Practice Manager for our clients in County Westmeath. You will be responsible for overseeing cost management services, leading a team of Quantity Surveyors, ensuring project delivery within budget and timelines, managing client relationships, meeting clients and developing business strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This is a permanent, full-time position based in County Westmeath.
Requirements:
* Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors, ensuring high standards of performance and professional development.
* Oversee the delivery of cost management and quantity surveying services, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the practice, enhance client relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
* Ensure projects are completed within budget and timelines, managing resources effectively.
* Prepare and review contracts, budgets, and cost estimates, providing expert guidance to the team.
* Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
* Foster a collaborative, supportive, and innovative work environment.
* Represent the practice at client meetings.
Qualifications for a Quantity Surveyor Practice Manager
* Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (essential).
* Professional membership with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent (highly desirable).
* Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes.
* Proven track record in managing teams and delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
This is a senior position with remuneration to match.
