An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a dynamic Finance Team within a NGO organisation in Dublin 12.
The role offers a chance to be a key finance liaison, providing comprehensive support and engaging in a wide range of accounting and finance aspects.
Key Responsibilities Assisting in monthly performance reports for management to track variances and Key Performance Indicators.
Supporting the budget preparation process and annual Budget for accurate forecasting and expense control.
Reviewing capital expenditure submissions to ensure adherence to policy and budget alignment.
Daily bank postings and reconciling Bank Accounts.
Monitoring daily cash flow and arranging appropriate bank transfers.
Leading reconciliations of inter-company debtor and creditor accounts.
Posting of General Ledger Journals with associated notes/explanations.
Key Skills and Requirements Part Qualified Accountant: ACA; ACCA; CIMA; or CPA.
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, including analytical and conceptual skills.
Understanding and experience of the Not-for-Profit sector (desirable).
Excellent computer literacy skills.
Proficient knowledge of Sun, Vision, Sage, and MS applications (desirable).
Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
Excellent written, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
