We are seeking an experienced professional to provide material support for owned and managed aircraft assets. Key responsibilities include coordinating pricing and engineering responses, as well as managing materials planning for commercial teams.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with a multi-regional team to provide material support for aircraft assets on lease globally.
* Coordinate pricing support for commercial teams during used aircraft marketing campaigns.
* Facilitate engineering responses to support commercial teams during used aircraft marketing campaigns.
* Manage materials planning for commercial teams, ensuring successful budgeting, cost control, and execution.
* Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to support materials planning.
* Negotiate General Terms Agreements with vendors and service providers.
* Maintain relationships with technical counterparts at OEMs, service providers, and leasing companies.
* Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the company.
* Travel worldwide often at short notice.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical procurement role in aircraft leasing, airlines, or MRO with a business degree or equivalent.
* Managerial experience with knowledge of building small teams and systems, processes, and procedures for materials, engineering, and vendor management.
* Responsibility for procurement budgeting.
* Developed relationships with best-in-class vendors, shipping agents, and freight forwarders.
* Liaison with customer configuration and lease transition support within Airbus and Boeing.
* Management of procurement system budgets, PO initiation, and invoice clearing.
* Ability to support senior management in implementing corporate strategy and achieving business goals.
* Proven ability to manage material procurement within a global aircraft leasing technical team.
* Proven history of successful material project management of used aircraft deliveries/redeliveries.
* Able to work under pressure in a dynamic work environment.
* Proficient in English language skills, spoken and written.
* Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.
