HR Administrator Role
Job Summary:
In this role as HR Administrator, you will join a professional team in a membership-led trade union responsible for protecting the rights and pay of its members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the Director of HR & Staff Development to provide administrative support.
* Use technology tools such as HRIS, Microsoft Office (including Forms and Teams) to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data.
* Assist with recruitment, administration, onboarding and offboarding processes.
* Help administer staff benefits, logistical and administrative support for training and development activities.
* Direct staff, job candidates, and others to resources and information.
* Cover reception duties occasionally.
Requirements:
* Recent relevant administrative experience.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Database management experience is beneficial.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work on a broad range of tasks and prioritize workload.
* Keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
* Demonstrated judgement and discretion in handling sensitive information and situations.
