Sr. Project Manager Role
The Sr. Project Manager role sits within our Market Advocacy and Innovation Research team. The position requires a commercially astute individual to assist in identifying new revenue opportunities linked to our innovation agenda.
You will work as part of a group to deliver those opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* Developing new solutions using new technologies.
* Gathering and analyzing information on external technology firms, monitoring market participants, and how they develop and deliver new innovative solutions.
* Serving as the innovation expert and participating in client and prospect discussions.
* Responsible for the legal and regulatory understanding of any new solution and ensuring full clarity prior to development.
* Management of resources to deliver the agreed scope for the value agreed.
* Developing business cases for innovative solutions.
Requirements:
* Prior experience managing projects with risks and resource implications.
* Proven ability to articulate why we should engage with certain external firms and the positive outcomes for Northern Trust.
* Understanding of the expected outcomes of the innovation deliverable and monitoring the outcomes to ensure value for investment.
* Understanding of innovations and trends in Financial Services.
* Prior experience working in different roles within programs, including Business Analyst, Testing, Program Management, and Client Engagement.
* A broad understanding of new and external technologies.
* Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
* Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop components of within the business as needed.
