Responsibilities:
* Generating new corporate and leisure business through proactive sales activity, including face-to-face calls and site inspections of the hotel, while managing time effectively between office and on-road activities.
* Preparing, executing, and delivering an annual costed plan for sales and marketing activities that sets clear goals aimed at meeting the budgetary and strategic objectives of the business.
* Managing and directing a Sales and Marketing Executive whose primary function is digital marketing, while assisting and supporting the sales and marketing manager in all departmental activities, including offline direct sales.
* Submitting comprehensive weekly and quarterly sales and marketing reports in an agreed format, describing departmental activities, quantifying business booked, and related revenue generated within the period.
Job Objectives:
* Raise the profile of the hotel and increase brand awareness.
* Develop relationships with local and national media.
