Description
BDO Ireland is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Learning & Development Specialist to join our team. As an L&D Specialist at BDO Ireland, you will play a crucial role in various L&D activities including onboarding, graduate and experienced hire induction, course creation for both eLearning and in-person delivery, and much more. In this role, you will report to the Head of Learning & Development. Within BDO L&D no two days are the same so the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of L&D best practices and be a self-starter who is motivated to engage in self-directed learning to upskill on the job.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage, coordinate, and facilitate on our graduate induction programme.
* Facilitate on our new hire induction programme.
* Design and develop interactive and creative eLearning content for soft skills topics.
* In collaboration with SMEs within the firm, develop engaging eLearns for business and compliance related topics.
* Design and deliver in-person training to support learning initiatives and programmes.
* Manage the logistics and rollout of in-person training programmes.
* Manage our L&D new starter/leaver process.
* Support the L&D coordinator with administration tasks when necessary.
* Support the Head of L&D with ad hoc projects (e.g., create training manuals for new systems/processes).
* Act as a point of contact for employee L&D queries.
* Remain up to date with L&D best practices.
* Ensure ongoing maintenance of the Learning Management System.
* Provide support for L&D firmwide initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* This is a junior to mid-level role.
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an L&D specialist/generalist role or a similar position.
* Learning & Development/Training qualification would be an advantage but not necessary.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Knowledge of eLearn authoring tools and training video creation/editing tools.
* Proficiency in LMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to multitask.
* Diary management skills and proactivity.
* Strong administration and organisational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to work in a dynamic professional environment.
