Holmes Institute Dublin is seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to fill the position of Programme Administrator. The successful candidate will work with a high-performing team to contribute to academic development, quality enhancement and to advance the strategic objectives of the college and the Group.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to fill this role. The ideal candidate should possess a strong academic background, coupled with administrative experience within the higher education sector. A deep understanding of academic administration processes, including registration, examinations, and graduation, is essential. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in data management, learner analytics, and regulatory compliance to support strategic planning and reporting. Proven expertise in timetabling, quality assurance, and implementing academic policies is crucial. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are vital for providing guidance to our admissions team and serving as the primary point of contact for students on administrative and program-related matters.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Academic administration including registration, examinations and graduation.
* Providing advice and guidance to our admissions team.
* Data management to support both planning and reporting requirements including responsibility for all academic records and learner analytics.
* Facilitating academic quality assurance by ensuring the implementation of academic quality policies and processes, including regulatory compliance and the integrity of all programmes.
* First point of contact for information to students regarding administration and all programme related issues.
* Timetabling.
* Maintenance and distribution of student handbooks and module guides.
* Maintaining a supportive learner-centred culture.
* Assisting in embedding quality processes across the Group, in particular in Ireland, the UK and Canada.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum of a level 8 qualification, higher degree preferred.
* Experience in a quality function in higher education, experience in governance an advantage.
* Experience with learner administration systems.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills and IT literate.
* Can demonstrate integrity and resourcefulness.
* Can work independently and manage a team.
* Collaborative and resourceful.
Innovative and entrepreneurial: You will be expected to suggest creative solutions to improve processes.
Organised and meticulous: You will need to use the technology available to stay on top of the student pipeline.
An excellent communicator: You will have a passion for imparting your knowledge and experience to an international team of staff.
Knowledgeable and willing to keep learning: You should possess knowledge of the Higher Education system in Ireland.
Service-oriented: You respond quickly and accurately to a range of enquiries from colleagues and customers alike.
The role is based in our Dublin office. Home/remote working is not available with this position.
