Talent Curve are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager.
The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams to bring projects to completion, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standard and within timelines.
This role will be based in Meath but will involve travel to various sites across Leinster, so a willingness to travel is a must.
The Role:
Build strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, sourcing representatives and wider client stakeholders across multiple business units.
Assist in preparing project documentation, programs, schedules, and execution plans.
Support procurement functions in reviewing and accepting subcontractors and acceptance of subcontract documents in line with the contract.
D deliver projects to agreed schedule, scope, quality and budget.
E nsure timely delivery of project reporting and forecasting.
Work closely with the HSQE team to manage and implement procedures across project sites.
O versee budgets, valuations and costs while recognising contractual requirements.
I dentify and initiate necessary change control processes.
P lan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
A nalyse, manage and mitigate risks.
E nsure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
W ork with project teams to manage the workflow of subcontractors ensuring they comply with the programme of works on site.
E nsure staff you are responsible for understand their roles and responsibilities, and manage them accordingly by providing guidance and training as necessary.
M anage commercial relationships and ways of working with Clients and / or Consultants to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of works and services.
L ead contractual negotiations and provide guidance to Project Manager where necessary.
This role is dynamic and not limited to the tasks listed.
Requirements:
Formal education in construction management or similar field.
5+ years in a similar role at a similar level.
Experience with Asphalt management Commercial knowledge and experience in quantity surveying and construction cost management.
Outstanding client relationship management skills with great client focus.
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
Familiarity with construction management software packages.
Competent in conflict and crisis management.
Leadership management skills.
Strong knowledge of utilities and public works contracts.
