Client Relationship Manager - Funds ManCo
The Opportunity
This is an exceptional opportunity to move from Asset Servicing into a leading Super ManCo. The firm has grown substantially in recent years and has a collaborative and dynamic environment. The primary role of the Client Relationship Manager is to manage a portfolio of Investment Management clients and perform ongoing oversight on their funds to ensure they are managed in line with all of their legal, regulatory and fiduciary requirements.
This role offers a unique view across the whole ManCo business as well as unrivalled exposure across the fund's industry, working with all parties to the funds including boards, fund managers and service providers.

The Position
* Maintain responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of a number of client funds and ensure that, across all managerial functions, all the required reporting is received from delegates, analysed and appropriate action initiated.
* Establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients, fund boards and fund delegates (including investment managers, administrators, distributors and depositaries).
* Attendance at quarterly board meetings and presenting a report to the board with an update on the oversight undertaken on each of the managerial functions, highlighting any issues or changes that occurred during the period and any relevant regulatory developments impacting the fund.
* Deal with ad-hoc issues/queries that arise on funds and liaise with appropriate SME teams to ensure that they are fully evaluated and actioned appropriately e.g. breaches/errors etc.
* Review of fund budgets and ongoing monitoring of expenses and any variances.
* Support sub-fund launches, fund terminations and changes of service providers or other similar projects on client funds.
* Have adequate knowledge of the UCITS and AIFMD regulatory framework and keep up to date with regulatory developments to ensure that the impact of any regulatory developments is communicated to relevant clients and implemented appropriately.
The Individual
* Minimum 5 years of solid background in the fund industry (UCITS and AIFs) in a Client facing role.
* Experience working in a technical capacity within a ManCo/AIFM, Administrator, depository, Audit firm or a financial services firm.
* Experience in managing multiple clients is an advantage.
* Project management, planning and organisation skills.
* Possesses good knowledge of either front office investment management role or experience in the operations of the middle and back-office functions of an investment manager.
* Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to continuously upskill and learn.
* Excellent PC skills including Word, Excel and Access (VBA skills would be considered as an advantage).
* Achieved a recognised professional or third level qualification that is relevant to the role.
