We are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel General Manager for a 69-bedroom hotel.
As the Hotel General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations, ensure high-quality guest service, and maintain profitability. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a customer-centric approach. You will work closely with department heads to ensure the smooth running of the hotel, maintain high standards, and achieve business objectives.
Our client is a well-established hotel known for its excellent guest experience and welcoming atmosphere. With 69 rooms, it is a key player in its region, and the successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining its reputation for quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
* Ensure the hotel meets or exceeds guest expectations for service, cleanliness, and overall experience.
* Manage budgets, financial planning, and reporting.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve profitability and revenue streams.
* Lead, motivate, and develop the hotel team, ensuring all staff are aligned with the hotel’s objectives.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and all statutory requirements.
* Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and local businesses.
* Handle guest complaints and feedback to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Monitor and improve service quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager or in a senior management role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
* Living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
