**Job Title:** Office Administrator
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Office Administrator to join our team at Millbrae Lodge Nursing Home in Newport, County Tipperary.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer incoming telephone calls, determine the purpose of the callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel and departments.
* Greet visitors and guests professionally, determine the nature and purpose of the visit, and direct and escort them to the appropriate destination or waiting rooms.
* Handle all reception-related queries.
* Actively market the Nursing Home and promote a positive personal and professional profile within the local community to ensure the good reputation of the Nursing Home at all times.
* Attend mandatory training days/courses, on or off-site, as required, and take responsibility for record-keeping of all training within the Nursing Home.
* Report immediately to the Home Manager or Person in Charge any illness of an infectious nature or accident incurred by a Resident, colleague, self, or another.
* Understand and implement the Nursing Homes Health and Safety policy and Emergency and Fire procedures.
* Promote safe working practices in the Nursing Home.
* Ensure that all confidential information gained in the course of duty is not divulged to third parties.
* Ensure the security of the Nursing Home is maintained at all times.
* Perform any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned.
Requirements:
* Previous Reception/Admin experience is a distinct advantage.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, and email.
* Professional telephone manner.
* Must provide Garda Vetting clearance in line with H.I.Q.A requirements.
