MICE Sales Account Manager
We are currently recruiting for a MICE Sales Account Manager to join the team in a prestigious 5* City Centre Hotel. This is a Monday to Friday, office-based role with sporadic requirements to travel for sales purposes.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Assist with the development, and proactively implement the annual MICE sales plan for the hotel.
2. Manage own portfolio of existing and new local and national accounts in MICE and Film Production companies.
3. Soliciting new business in the domestic MICE market from corporates, charities, associations, institutions, agents/venues finders including national conferences, meetings and events and award ceremonies.
4. Identify and develop new business in the corporate groups segment targeting domestic clients.
5. Participating and supporting hotel Sales teams with customer visits, site inspections and familiarization trips.
6. Manage and undertake local, regional and national key account activities including appointments, fam trips, trade shows, networking events, workshops, presentations and sales missions.
7. Promote and represent the hotel at domestic trade shows and events.
8. Manage sales projects as per business requirements.
9. Provide feedback to the Director of Sales & Marketing and General Manager on local market conditions.
Ideal Candidate
1. 2 years' proactive Hotel Sales experience in a target-driven sales environment.
2. Hotel proactive MICE sales experience is preferred.
3. Strong administrative skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
4. Sales focused, target and results driven, with a track record in sales target success and over-achievement essential.
Salary Guide: €45-50k
