Project Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support the development, growth, and delivery of a portfolio of projects for our Medical Device client based in Cork. These projects involve developing and deploying new products and process technologies across multiple manufacturing locations.
Main Responsibilities:
* New Inspection Technologies: Execution and project management responsibility for NPI and Tech development projects.
* Emerging Product Development: Designing and implementing new product ideas.
* Risk Management: Managing risk and validation lifecycle for new processes or process changes.
* Asset Lifecycle Management: Managing the life cycle of new equipment from planning to disposal.
* Innovative Qualification Methodologies: Developing and applying statistical and validation techniques to ensure quality and compliance.
* Operations Development: Implementing lean manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
* Engineering Studies: Conducting studies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
* Business Results: Driving business growth and improvement through effective project management.
* Customer Focus: Understanding customer needs and preferences to inform product development.
* Collaboration and Teaming: Working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
* Education: Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
* Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years of engineering experience in a Medical Device manufacturing environment.
