We are looking for a driven and motivated Workshop Support Operative to join our growing team based in Limerick.
In the role you will be:
1. Assisting the Powered Access Engineers in the effective maintenance by carrying regular yard stock checks.
2. Working alongside Engineers assisting in general workshop repairs and maintenance (PDI).
3. Liaising with Workshop Manager and engineers to determine priority of waste disposal as required i.e. waste oil, scrap metal, emptying of wheelie bins and disposal of contaminated waste.
4. Assisting in yard duties and keeping clean workshop isles, including the use of floor cleaning machines.
5. Supporting team in periodic and annual parts stock checks.
6. Ensuring health and safety of the equipment within the workshop.
7. Part-time driving, delivering, and collecting of parts.
8. Building and maintaining professional relationships with all departments.
What will help you to excel in this role:
1. Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering.
2. A forklift and IPAF operator’s licence.
3. Knowledge of environmental and waste management.
4. A flexible approach is essential.
5. Full clean driving licence.
6. Knowledge of health and safety practices.
