We are seeking a proactive Membership Engagement & Retention Executive to drive member engagement, retention, and growth.
This is a results-focused role, requiring strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work towards targets.
You will engage directly with members and potential members through calls, emails, events, and digital platforms to enhance the membership experience. Key Responsibilities Membership Engagement Take a hands-on approach to engaging with members through personalised outreach, calls, emails, and events.Strengthen member relationships by identifying needs, providing solutions, and ensuring an exceptional experience.Proactively monitor member activity and implement targeted retention strategies.Manage CRM records, ensuring seamless renewals, accurate data, and smooth onboarding for new members.Support the development of digital member experiences, identifying improvements for a more user-friendly journey.Collaborate with the Events Manager to maximise engagement at member events, attending and supporting as required.Membership Growth Drive membership growth by identifying and engaging prospective members through proactive outreach, calls, and business development activities.Strengthen prospecting and engagement and confidently handle queries from potential members.Enhance membership levels with retention strategies and showcase the value of IoD membership.Board Evaluation Administration Play an integral role in the administration of board evaluation reviews by providing key administrative support to the assessor team, ensuring efficient coordination, accuracy and confidentiality throughout the process.Skills & Experience Essential: 3+ years' experience in a commercial, sales, or membership role with a proven track record of working to targets.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Experience making proactive outreach calls and handling queries with confidence.Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail.Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office.Desirable: Experience in business development or membership engagement within a professional organisation.Knowledge of digital marketing or sales campaigns.What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits.10% employer pension contribution (post-probation).Life Assurance & Income Protection.Hybrid working model.Employee Assistance Programme.Generous holiday allowance with buy/sell options.Professional development opportunities in a learning-focused organisation.
