ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service - Providing each customer with outstanding customer service.
1. Ensures the highest level of adidas service is given to each customer.
2. Completes any regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, etc.
3. Involved indirectly with ticketing of products as well as checking paperwork against items received.
4. Assists in product flow from stockroom to sales floor on a fill-in basis.
5. Ensures that Company assets and stock are always secured to alleviate shrinkage.
6. Assists in the development of displays of merchandise or follows suggestions or schedules provided by the store management team.
7. Attains proficiency with the point-of-sale system by acquiring system utilization skills. Ensures integrity is maintained through attention to policy and procedure.
8. Uses selling techniques such as add-on sales and describing technical information to customers to enhance salesmanship and reach store and position sales goals.
9. Greets customers in the store and assists them in finding the right product. Occasionally, serves primarily as a Greeter at the front door during busy workdays.
10. Maintains general housekeeping standards and safekeeping of Company assets.
