About the role
With primary responsibility of embedding the dairy strategy (Food & Beverage) in Europe and enabling the execution of this strategy, the Assistant Marketing Manager will work closely with key stakeholders to deliver dairy category thought-leadership and support on delivery of dairy marketing activation plans.
Key responsibilities
* Support on dairy category expertise – position the team as category experts internally and externally
* Be the European EUM marketing point of contact for wider marketing activation teams, supporting on insights, activation, and Go to Market excellence
* Provide critical customer, consumer, geography, and technology insight
* Collaborate with Insights team and third-party data providers to close gaps in our category understanding
* Support the activation and foodservice marketing teams to develop a detailed localized understanding of the dairy category in prioritized markets
* Work with the activation marketing team to ensure dairy marketing activities are aligned with the needs of the Food category and regional European strategy
* Ensure accurate and optimal positioning of Kerry technologies in Dairy Europe based on robust category knowledge, collaboratively working with the Activation Marketing team on execution
* Facilitate category knowledge transfer that can be shared with Sales Teams for customer engagements
* Manage budget and key performance metrics against business objectives and strategies
Strategic Leadership & Planning
* Demonstrate dairy category knowledge build and market/customer insight to influence strategy
* Maintain ongoing connectivity with regional Business Units to drive alignment between strategy execution
* Collaborate with technology teams to ensure alignment with strategic priorities, campaigns, and innovation pipeline
* Support successful execution of agreed innovation priorities in line with KPIs
Qualifications and skills
* Bachelor's or Master's/MBA in marketing or business-related discipline
* Solid marketing experience, ideally B2B
* Food or beverage experience essential
* Capability in delivering successful & sustainable growth
* Experience in development and successful product launches at a European-wide level in the B2B industry
* Genuine passion for marketing innovation, particularly digital marketing innovation and how it can create enhanced customer opportunities
