Field Sales – Solar
Our client specializes in the design, installation, and commissioning of residential and commercial solar PV and battery storage projects across Ireland.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Solar Sales Executive or ambitious salesperson to grow with the business. The role will require a self-starter working in Cork and surrounding areas. Our client is one of Ireland's fastest growing renewable energy companies and is looking for bright, enthusiastic people to join their team.
Our client is recruiting professional salespeople to capture and create new business. There is a busy marketing schedule, including trade exhibitions, to create inquiries and raise awareness of our client's brand in the market.
The target markets for this role are predominantly residential properties along with commercial properties in Ireland. The product range includes the market-leading Tier 1 solar equipment, including battery, quality PV modules, and car chargers.

An energetic, friendly, honest, and detail-oriented person who is highly self-motivated. Capable of engaging customers and actively selling the product through a genuine passion for renewables and helping people lower their carbon footprint. Committed to growing our client’s business and building brand awareness by imparting people-centered company values while demonstrating real tenacity in reaching monthly targets.
Tasks:
1. Visit a minimum of 12 homeowners who have inquired with the company or generated leads in a week. Survey their homes generally within business hours, or in the early evening and Saturday where necessary. Provide a quote and secure the business.
2. Design the optimum solution for the client (with help initially). Analyze electricity bills to right-size the PV array. Check for technical challenges in the home.
3. Handover projects to the Project Manager and on-site construction teams for successful project delivery. Provide the necessary level of detail.
Ideal Experience:
1. Three years in a business-to-consumer sales position.
2. Exposure to technical products and explaining their benefits.
3. An understanding of energy efficiency products.
4. Experience working with CRM software. Competent with Excel and Word.
Qualifications:
1. Graduate-level candidate (possibly technical)
2. Formal sales training.
3. Full driving license.
