Based in Cavan Town
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm - 35hour working week.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and update waiting lists for assessments.Ensure accuracy and timely recording of referrals and appointments.Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to senior clinicians, including diary management, document preparation, and correspondence handling.Assist in scheduling appointments and managing confidential patient records.Maintain and update databases, ensuring data integrity and security.Generate and analyse reports using Microsoft Excel, identifying trends and streamlining administrative processes.Work collaboratively with clinicians to reduce the administrative workload, by implementing effective procedures and systems.Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes that enhance efficiency.Leverage advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, charts) to support data analysis and reporting needs.Troubleshoot basic IT issues and liaise with IT support when necessarySkills and Qualifications: 2 years previous experience in an administrative role in a healthcare setting.Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Comfortable learning and utilising new software as needed.Strong attention to detail and highly organised in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary teamAbility to identify inefficiencies in current processes and suggest practical solutions to streamline administrative duties.
