Job Title: Indirect Tax Consultant
We are seeking experienced tax professionals to join our team as Indirect Tax Consultants, supporting clients worldwide with their VAT obligations and providing comprehensive advice on VAT regulations and cross-border transactions.
* Provide high-quality VAT consultancy and business advice to a diverse portfolio of clients.
* Calculate and file European VAT returns meticulously and promptly, ensuring the highest level of accuracy.
* Advise clients on VAT liabilities, guide them on tax payments, and ensure compliance with European filings, EC Sales, and Intrastat reporting as required.
* Communicate with tax offices regarding clients' accounts and obligations.
* Conduct VAT audits/investigations in collaboration with tax offices related to your client portfolio.
* Manage clients' accounts in coordination with the Credit Control Department.
* Stay consistently updated with VAT law and any changes in legislation.
* Provide exceptional customer service to build trust, rapport, and strong relationships within your portfolio.
* Represent the company professionally at events/webinars.
* Train, support, and develop new team members.
* Collaborate positively and enthusiastically with the team.
* Actively engage with Managers and Directors to suggest contributions for improving procedures.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Experience working in Law/VAT/Accountancy/Finance.
* Confident and excellent communication skills for client interaction and engagement (Email, Phone, and face-to-face).
* Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Organised and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Excellent multi-tasking ability.
* Experience or knowledge of International E-Commerce.
