What you need to know Our client based In County Waterford a leading figure in specialist solutions are seeking a Site Capex Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Site Engineering Director you will be a pivotal leader in managing and delivering the sites Capital projects, ultimately ensuring that deliverables achieved are aligned to global standards and regulations. There will be a cross functional emphasis to this position where a team of engineers will be directly reporting into the Site Capex Manager. Additional to mention the Site Capex Manager will have strong liaison with EHS, Quality, and Finance. Duties and responsibilities Figurehead in Construction management and the Site Permit system. Focussed on EHS, ensuring the team is adhering to EHS requirements in areas of issues resolution, ultimately ensuring that CAPEX Is weighed into any root cause investigations. Provide a clear agenda on EHS requirements to any 3rd party contractors Adherence to QMS requirements and Quality compliance standards. Leading and accountable figure in financial performance of the capital portfolio. Aligning with site metrics such Assets under construction, Impairment, CAPEX, OPEX and headcount management. Showcase leadership to site peers in the areas of compliance to Capital approval documentation, and the management of project escalation and controls. Involved in performance management, possess qualities such as coachability and direction to team members in areas of execution of duties and reaching goals. Involvement in the Local Capital Approval Board. Ownership of Facility Investment plan. SME in regulatory requirements and work with auditors when arises. Involvement in estimations regarding to any significant project work. What we need from you Education B.Eng. in an Engineering discipline Green belt or Six sigma orientated qualification Experience 8 Years experience leading and delivering CAPEX projects, In the Pharmaceutical industry or similar regulated environment. Possess a strong exposure to the regulations associated with the pharmaceutical industry. Possess strong qualities in leadership. The ability to drive and motivate a team in line with expected goals and deliverables. Have exposure to a manufacturing floor setting, understanding of the challenges that is faced by a high-speed setting. Ability to weigh in Capex goals in this type of setting. Ability to develop close links with Senior management in areas such as EHS, Quality and Operations. The ability to provide recommendations, and provide clear data to back up recommendations, in turn bringing about timely and efficient decision making. Have business expertise, ability to review and analysis prior to capital expenditure.
