Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Canteen Chef to join our team in Kepak Ballybay. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our canteen kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for kitchens daily operation.
* Ability to prepare and cook food in a busy environment.
* Prepare and cook food to the highest quality ensuring consistency in the final product.
* To work the daily operations of a kitchen handling and preparing raw and cooked foods in a canteen environment.
* To maintain a clean kitchen environment at all times in accordance with HACCP legislation.
* Ensures that high standards of Cleaning, Health and Safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas at all times.
* Ordering of stock, merchandising and stock taking.
* Ensure a professional and courteous service.
* Lead the team to provide excellent food service.
* Establishes controls to reduce food and waste.
Requirements
* Experience of the day to day running of a kitchen and or food production.
* A flair and passion for food is essential.
* Cooking Skills.
* HACCP.
* Fluent English.
* Must be available to work flexible hours from Monday to Saturday.
