You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize mechanical systems, participate in design reviews, and mentor fellow engineers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related scientific fieldExperience in mechanical engineering design of power delivery systems and cooling infrastructureExperience managing supplier relationships in construction projectsExperience with large-scale industrial or commercial cooling distribution systemsKnowledge of structural design analysis and equipment safety certification, HVAC manufacturing experience and understanding of lean principles PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAdvanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldExperience with data center design and construction, and sustainable design practices and energy optimizationKnowledge of building management systems and controlsUnderstanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and CFD analysisProject Management Professional certificationExpertise in mechanical system commissioningFamiliarity with building codes (Life Safety, NFPA, NEC, OSHA) Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
