Position Title: IT Manufacturing Professional - Logistics/Supply Chain
Reporting To: Senior Director - Manufacturing & Quality IT
Lilly is currently constructing a Next Generation Biotech Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility in Limerick, Ireland. This facility will be Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing site and will include next-generation manufacturing technologies and advanced data collection and analysis platforms that will deliver improvements in safety and quality, and increased productivity and process performance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Support Lilly’s manufacturing site logistic flow from in-bound to out-bound, supply material to shop floor, and store material in warehouses.
2. Utilize the warehouse management solution (eWM) with high integration with automated equipment at site, such as automated warehouses (ASRS) and manufacturing execution system (MES).
3. Support additional logistics solutions beyond eWM, like schedule modeling systems, data analytics, etc.
How You’ll Succeed:
1. Understand logistics applications and tools integration with critical systems like MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and Process Automation.
2. Support the implementation of SAP eWM, becoming an expert in the technology and its integration with additional SAP Supply Chain modules.
3. Learn logistics business processes, scheduling, applications, and tools.
4. Participate in projects, understanding business impact, and evaluating/recommending technical options.
5. Support site implementation activities and integration with other site functions.
6. Work with IT groups and business areas on cross-organizational issues.
7. Promote process improvement and innovation to drive business process optimization.
8. Adhere to corporate computer systems validation policies and procedures.
Ability to:
1. Establish positive interpersonal relations and interact effectively with people.
2. Work with minimal supervision.
3. Exercise good judgment.
Knowledge of:
1. System Development Life Cycle.
2. cGMP's.
3. Microsoft Office suite of tools.
Basic Qualifications:
1. 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
2. Experience with integrated logistic flow in a manufacturing facility, including prior experience with SAP and MES systems.
3. Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in Computerized Information System, Computer Science, Programming, or Engineering or equivalent.
4. Project Management and leadership skills.
