An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Front Office team at the exclusive 5 star Lyrath Estate Hotel as a Front Office Receptionist.
The Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact to our guests, representing the Front of House Department in a friendly, energetic and professional manner and consistently delivering a Five-Star level of service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a memorable experience, working with all departments throughout the Hotel to deliver and exceed our guest expectations.
The role requirements:
1. To be familiar with the day's business, including arrivals, departures, and special requests.
2. To offer guest services such as wake-up calls, newspapers, etc.
3. To check guests in and out in a friendly and efficient manner.
4. To ensure all cash, charge, float, and till procedures are carried out in accordance with company policy.
5. Maximise sales through up-selling, using incentives and promotions.
6. Ensure all customer enquiries and requests for bookings are dealt with promptly, courteously, and efficiently.
7. Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints.
8. Have a full knowledge of all bedrooms, their location, and what they consist of.
9. Allocation of arrivals for the next day’s business.
10. Knowledge of local amenities and local transport.
11. Be available to work 5 out of 7 days.
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. Strong command of the English language.
2. Basic computer skills are essential while a working knowledge of Hotsoft is desirable.
3. Experience in hospitality would be beneficial but not essential.
4. Excellent customer service.
5. Welcoming friendly personality and manner.
6. Ability to prioritise and organise work.
7. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, Bank Holidays, early shifts, and evening shifts.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced busy environment.
