We are looking to hire an energetic, professional business development executive who enjoys talking to clients and ensuring they receive 100% customer satisfaction.
What is involved in the role?
Business Development Activities – Outbound
* Identify new business opportunities for all areas of recruitment business units.
* Carrying out cold outreach activities within the BD Team.
* Updating CRM to ensure existing client lists are updated every 6 months.
* Scheduling and conducting ‘Keep in Touch’ calls with existing client base, identifying opportunities that may exist.
* Updating CRM system to allow for follow-up calls to occur in a timely manner.
Business Development Activities – Inbound
* Planning and implementing inbound marketing activities in line with the weekly marketing activity planner.
* Working with the marketing team to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activity to generate business opportunities.
* Maintaining client webpages to ensure content is updated and monitoring its effectiveness in attracting new recruitment partners.
* Working with the in-house Marketing team on the creation of social media messaging for inbound client engagement.
Client Engagement Activities
* Attending relevant industry events to build and develop business networks.
* Representing ICE Group at relevant exhibitions and career events.
* Using LinkedIn to market and connect pre/post industry events.
* Carrying out LinkedIn activities to engage with clients and client organizations.
* Attending client meetings with the recruitment team, identifying new/existing opportunities for business.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
* Diploma/Degree in Sales/Marketing, Arts, or Business.
* Additional Sales Training experience.
* Knowledge of the recruitment industry.
* Well-presented and confident individual who is comfortable making and meeting new business contacts.
* An individual with a phone-first approach when it comes to development business.
* Natural analytical mindset who can identify client pain points and put forward options for solutions.
* Strong administration skills, and the ability to track and update sales/meeting notes, minutes, and outcomes.
* Comfortable presenting ideas to new and existing clients.
* Negotiation skills that can overcome objections and seek a win-win solution.
* Attention to detail when creating and sending out sales/marketing materials.
