We are currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Penhaligon's, Kildare Village.
What you'll get to do
As Assistant Store Manager, you'll be supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales objectives, maintaining the highest operational and merchandising standards, and building, coaching, and developing our in-store team.
Key responsibilities:
1. Profit and Sales Generation:
Meeting sales goals & demonstrating sales leadership to the team
2. Customer Service:
Empower the Fragrance Consultants to provide the highest level of customer service
Assist the Store Manager in building the client database and running special events inclusive of collection previews, client events, etc.
3. Operations:
Ensure correct staffing levels
Look after areas of risk management, including physical security, store cash controls, and inventory management
Deliver relevant team member training, i.e., POS systems
Conduct stock inventories as needed
Understand and execute cash control procedures including bank deposits, safe funds, petty cash
4. Merchandising/Visual:
Ensure execution of effective merchandising strategies, making sure the selling floor is always picture perfect and on brand
Partner with operations, logistics & product teams to ensure the right assortment for the store, communicating inventory needs to support the business goals
5. Human Resources:
Work with the Store Manager to deliver all training programs and initiatives to develop the Fragrance Consultants
Assist with evaluating the performance of each Fragrance Consultant and providing feedback
