OverviewThe Market Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of market data to support business decisions.
This position coordinates market intelligence projects from initiation through completion, to ensure business objectives and due dates are met.
ResponsibilitiesPerforms analysis on industry, markets, products and competitors.Presents market intelligence data in a way that tells a compelling story, provides actionable insights, and drives business decisions.Analyses and synthesizes data into meaningful and insightful reports, visualizations, and communications to inform business decisions.Leads and manages projects including project scoping, process mapping, liaising with stakeholders, ensuring milestones are met, and rollout plans.Prepares and executes project plans to align with business goals, including sources, methodologies, timelines, and cost estimates.Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness when identifying and defining requirements.
Organizes and participates in requirements meetings.Sets project and task deadlines, monitors progress, and prepares project status reports for management.Shares, organizes, and archives projects and data.Coordinates projects with external partners.Ensures that Cook's Code of Conduct is considered in all business matters carried out on Cook's behalf.QualificationsThird level qualification in a related field desired.A minimum of 2 years experience in the field of market research and data analysis required.Proven ability to analyze market data from different sources and present findings, analysis, and recommendations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry preferred.Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Experience with MS Power BI or other visualization platforms preferred.A proven track record of effectively communicating data and insights.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills with the ability to maintain objectivity at all times.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Availability and willingness to travel on company business as required.
