Job Title: Site Engineer - Cork City
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join our site management team in Cork. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead the engineering aspects of our residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the setting out of all works is carried out ahead of sub-contractors, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
* Provide regular feedback to sub-contractors on their work, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
* Maintain up-to-date drawings and drawing registers, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and easily accessible.
* Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure that all documentation is signed by sub-contractors and filed away securely.
* Oversee the maintenance and calibration of engineering equipment, guaranteeing its optimal performance.
* Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet demanding project deadlines.
Requirements:
* Degree-level qualification in Engineering (Level 8 or higher).
* A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Engineer, with a proven track record of delivering results under pressure.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficiency in the use of setting out equipment, including Total Stations and GPS technology.
* In-depth knowledge of current Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation, with a commitment to upholding these standards on-site.
