ATG are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Environmental Consultant to join a growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in environmental consultancy.
You will assist with environmental assessments, site inspections, reporting, and regulatory compliance on a variety of client projects across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Support environmental impact assessments (EIAs), site investigations, and risk assessments
* Conduct desk studies and field surveys (soil, air, water, noise, biodiversity)
* Assist in preparing technical reports, permit applications, and client documentation
* Participate in environmental monitoring and sampling
* Ensure compliance with Irish and EU environmental legislation and standards
* Liaise with project managers, clients, and regulators as required
* Contribute to sustainability strategies and environmental audits
* Maintain accurate records of fieldwork and data analysis
Requirements
* A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, or related discipline
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Full clean driving license (or willingness to obtain one within 6 months)
