Hyde & Seek Childcare are seeking a skilled and motivated person to fulfil the role of area manager. Their role will be to co-ordinate, lead and liaise with our service managers to ensure a high standard of service, compliance to company policy, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Main responsibilities are:
1. To provide leadership, knowledge and support to our service managers in their roles.
2. To evaluate and ensure high standards of operation and regulatory compliance across our centres.
3. Performance evaluation and goal setting for service managers.
4. Ensuring service/staff compliance to policies and procedures by the use of focused audits.
5. To work with senior management to develop a training program and oversee training of new staff.
6. Co-ordinate the implementation of any new company policies and initiatives with individual services.
7. To assist in developing our curriculum in line with Aistear and Siolta.
8. To effectively market and promote the group.
9. To develop ongoing positive relationships with our clients and staff.
10. Perform any other reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Person Specifications:
1. Minimum FETAC Level 6 in Childcare.
2. Minimum 2 years work experience in a management role.
3. Ability to lead.
4. Good communication and relationship skills with staff and parents.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation.
Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.
