Born in 1971, Sunglass Hut started as a small family business running a kiosk in a Miami mall. After 50 years and over 3,000 stores worldwide, we’re celebrating where we’ve been and where we’re going – bringing that same family feel and welcoming spirit as the very first kiosk to our stores today.
Job Scope and Main Responsibilities
A Store Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, including sales, profitability, recruiting, maintenance, and inventory control as well as ensuring excellent customer service is delivered.
A Store Manager is expected to improve the overall business performance and achieve objectives through effective management, leadership, and development of the people in their team. As an EssilorLuxottica ambassador, the Store Manager will role model the EssilorLuxottica values and the Sunglass Hut culture.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the store’s day-to-day operations.
* Ensure all KPI targets and expectations are delivered.
* Ensure costs are kept to a minimum and stock loss is within company guidelines.
* Regularly analyze sales performance, maximizing strengths and reviewing poor performance to establish an action plan for improvement.
* Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the business.
* Network effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Keep abreast of and be knowledgeable of competitor activity.
* Deliver memorable customer service and exceptional product knowledge.
* Maintain inspiring visual merchandising in store as per guidelines.
* Ensure that the store is always on top of the competition by being commercially focused.
* Recruit, lead, motivate, and inspire your team to succeed in store.
* Create an engaging and positive working environment.
* Establish a store culture that embraces diversity and maximizes the learnings from a diverse team.
* Lead store team to deliver brand story and Sunglass culture through effective store management.
* Set and execute sales performance goals to increase profitability.
* Hire, train, and assess store employee productivity and performance.
* Maintain orderly, presentable appearance of the store.
