About the Role
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting young people who have experienced trauma and challenging behaviors.
Your Responsibilities
* Act as a key worker for individual young people, providing personalized support to help them overcome challenges and prepare for independent living.
* Develop and maintain individual placement plans that align with statutory care plans, ensuring each young person receives tailored support.
* Collaborate with external agencies to provide comprehensive housing, education, and social support services.
* Maintain accurate records in compliance with health and safety standards, showcasing your attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Participate in a 24/7 roster, demonstrating your ability to work flexibly and respond to changing situations.
What We Require
* A degree in Social Care or a related field, highlighting your expertise in supporting vulnerable populations.
* Experience working in residential care or with children with complex needs, showcasing your ability to navigate challenging situations.
* In-depth knowledge of HIQA standards, Child Protection, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, ensuring you can provide high-quality support.
* Exceptional communication skills and a strong teamwork mindset, enabling you to build rapport with colleagues and stakeholders.
* A full, clean driver's license, allowing you to travel between locations and provide outreach services.
