Job Title: Sales Account Manager for B2B (European Market)
We are recruiting for a Sales Account Manager to oversee the European market, representing our global medical devices company.
The role will be based in a hybrid model, with approximately two-thirds of the week spent in our South Dublin office.
* Manage and develop distributors and MTO customers in European markets, ensuring client satisfaction and achieving sales targets through regular calls and monthly reviews.
* Implement sales plans to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales goals.
* Lead opportunities from initiation to closure, negotiating and finalizing deals while collaborating with internal teams to support customers during the tendering process.
* Monitor and report on account activity, providing monthly status updates to management.
* Offer expert advice to customers on our products, delivering demos independently and suggesting solutions tailored to their needs.
* Provide feedback from clients and users to our Product Development, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to continually enhance customer satisfaction.
* Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders.
* Conduct bi-weekly market research to identify new opportunities and competitors' strengths and weaknesses.
* Recommend strategies to stay competitive.
* Attend conferences, industry events, and professional development activities to expand your network and knowledge base.
* Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and implement promotional strategies for our products and services.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research to facilitate informed discussions with clients and explore new opportunities in the Middle East.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in a similar regulatory industry or within the Life Science sector, with a background in Gastroenterology being an asset.
* A proven track record of achievement over the past three years is mandatory.
* Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
* Excellent communication skills, including effective relationship management.
* Strong presentation skills, including the ability to create proposals tailored to customer needs and deliver presentations effectively.
* Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
* A willingness to travel domestically and internationally, with approximately 25% of time spent traveling – primarily for international trips.
