The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and enjoy dealing with people and working in a busy hotel environment covering such areas as private events, restaurant, bars, reception and rooms The Duty Manager will ensure the smooth day to day operation of the Hotel while on duty and ensure that a consistently high standard and quality of service exists at all times. You will ensure that a quality product and customer care is delivered at all times. Requirements: This role requires excellent communication & leadership skills and a passion for customer service. Extensive knowledge of Food & Beverage with a flexible approach. To work with the Management Team to ensure smooth running of the hotel operation. To be aware of business in the hotel, to be innovative with regards to proposals and ideas to ensure continuous improvement. Excellent organisation skills and Interpersonal Skills. Must be well groomed and take pride in their appearance. Must be flexible and committed to succeed in a fast-paced diverse workplace. Courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service. High level of problem solving skills. Excellent communication skills, enthusiastic and motivated. People management experience. The ability to lead and to be able to multi task in a fast paced environment To deal with guest queries in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team Unrestricted permission to work in Ireland on a full time basis. Available to work a variety of shifts included late night, early mornings, Weekend shifts including Bank/Public Holidays. Candidates should possess a good broad based experience of the Food & Beverage and hospitality Industry Skills & Experience: Hotel Management Qualification preferable.
