Your Role
1. Oversee client service delivery and monitor service provision to agreed standards for key clients.
2. Formulate and implement key client service programs.
3. Liaise internally with all operational areas to ensure awareness of all key client requirements.
4. Visit clients on a periodic basis to evaluate service quality and identify client priorities.
5. Assist in the resolution of complex client issues.
6. Manage escalations and complaints within the team and within the department.
7. Manage, train, and assist assigned Account Managers in the successful running of their teams.
8. Participate in the review of procedures and policies and supervision of Managers to ensure adherence to these procedures.
9. Participate in client conference calls.
10. Liaise with clients regarding reporting requirements and deadlines, ensuring delivery in an accurate and timely manner.
11. Responsible for continuous risk assessment of current and potential new funds under administration.
12. Identify issues/concerns and recommend company-wide solutions for any/all high-risk projects.
13. Manage operational risks - monthly reporting on status reports and key development issues.
14. Demonstrate a proactive approach to industry and regulatory changes and the development and promotion within the firm.
15. Participate in and lead projects that may be defined from time to time in connection with the continuing expansion and evolution of the business.
About You
1. BBS in Accounting/Finance or related discipline or professional accounting designation (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
2. 7-10 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably with exposure to Product Control, Operations, or Fund Accounting environments within PE.
3. Strong technical knowledge of Private Equity Fund Accounting.
4. Skills in negotiation, business planning and budgeting, margin analysis, rating agency relations, and technical accounting.
5. Familiarity with Investran or other Private Equity software packages is highly advantageous.
6. Experience in developing/implementing/optimizing business processes and projects.
7. Knowledge of International GAAP/IFRS Accounting Principles.
8. Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience.
9. Superior written and verbal communication skills.
10. Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel).
